Jarrett Kong is a seasoned executive and entrepreneur who bridges global corporate expertise with sustainable agricultural innovation. Drawing on 18 years in the Oil & Gas sector, where he supported exploration operations across Asia Pacific and lived in China, Singapore, Dubai and Malaysia.
Jarrett pairs his international project management experience with a strong technical foundation. He holds a Mechanical Engineering diploma (City & Guilds, UK) and an MBA from the University of Wales, combining rigorous analytical skills with sharp business acumen.
Upon returning to Kuching, Sarawak, Jarrett pivoted toward the agricultural sector with a strategic focus on soil health. Following two years of intensive, hands-on research in soil development and microbiology, he successfully formulated and commercialized Borneo Origin's proprietary organic compost. In addition to his core expertise, he is a certified HRD Corp Train-The-Trainer, dedicated to not only manufacturing premium organic solutions but also educating and empowering the local agricultural community.
As a co-founder, Tina established the essential administrative frameworks that keep the organization running. She ensures that the internal office operations remain organized and efficient, providing a steady backbone for the team’s growth.
She serves as a dependable liaison with Government Agencies, managing the necessary paperwork and communications to keep projects aligned with official requirements and regional policies.
Tina is the primary point of contact for Native farming communities. Her role is built on trust; she facilitates open communication and ensures that the voices of local farmers are heard and integrated into the organization’s collaborative strategies. She plays a hands-on role in connecting traditional farms to the broader supply chain. By supporting the transition from "farm to market," she helps smallholder farmers gain more consistent access to the resources and logistics they need to succeed.
Nicholas brings a diverse background in digital marketing, insurance and corporate administration. He began his career in digital marketing, focusing on web development and the management of e-commerce platforms.
Seeking a new challenge, he transitioned into the insurance industry for four years. To deepen his corporate expertise, Nicholas later spent a year at an insurance company, where he gained insights into high-level industry processes and systems.
Now, having returned to Kuching, he helped co-found Borneo Origin. He combines his digital marketing roots with the administrative discipline he mastered in the insurance world to lead the company’s operations and growth strategy.
With a career forged in the competitive world of high-end commercial fashion, Nicole Kong is the visionary driving the global identity of Orchipure. Her tenure with luxury titans Chanel and ALO provided her with a deep mastery of brand elevation and franchise supply chain logistics.
She now applies these skills to transforming Borneo’s botanical treasures into high-end essential oil essentials. Leveraging a distinguished background with Tier-1 fashion brands, she masterfully translates luxury market principles into the wellness sector through comprehensive creative direction and branding.
Her technical foundation in Fashion and Textiles Design informs her visionary design approach, while her focus on strategic growth ensures the implementation of robust supply chain frameworks that safeguard and scale the Orchipure trademarked portfolio.
